I had been in a relationship with my fiance for 3.5 years when he decided to move to TX after losing his job. He returned a couple months later but basically I had already emotionally detached from him leaving and him not talking to me while he was away. We went to couples counseling while I went on eharmony. I told a mutual about a couple dates I had went on (her husband was a close friend of my ex). A few months after I had forgotten about the eharmony stint my friend's husband tells my ex what had happened (right around the time the therapy was starting to work). One day after therapy he takes me to a park (we never did anything romantic) to have 'the talk' with me. He asked me if I had something to tell him...and I literally didnn't remember going on eharmony at this point..it was so long ago. We talk for a couple hours...more than he ever communicated before. He didn't break up with me, but he wanted to take some time. I texted him a week later, and a week after that, and a week after that - the last time asking if he wanted the ring back. And then I discontinued our relationship on facebook. I talked to him later and he didn't even notice, and he "never got" my texts...he was planning to talk to me to tell me his decision... 3 months after I broke up with him...at our mutual friends wedding (above).

Back story: B/f and I have lived together for 5 years. We have been through a lot. Losing grandparents, my father having cancer, him being laid off...the list goes on. We have talked about marriage before and he always said that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.

We are at thanksgiving dinner with his family and as always the questions begin about future wedding plans. B/f flips shit and in front of his whole family tells me he is moving out, he can't handle the pressure. I still had to drive an hr to my parents house and have thanksgiving with them. I figured he just snapped with pressure of the holidays and what not. I went home around 10pm...his shits gone...phone turned off.

To make things worse, his brother calls yesterday to ask me out on a date. Weirdest fucking family ever.

I've always been really close with all of my X boyfriends. I make this known before I start dating anyone because some guys seem to be intimidated by the fact that I can still be friends after a relationship. I took my boyfriend home for thanksgiving this year where of course some of my X's are from. We all went out to the bars and were having a good time. Apparently one of my x's claimed that he was still in love with me.( we are going on 7 yrs of friendship) I laughed it off, tequila makes you say stupid shit. My boyfriend didn't find it too funny.He told me its either him or the x's. He's been in my life for a year...they have been in my life since high school. I told him I loved him...he said that wasn't enough. I had to stop seeing my friends. He took a train home and still hasn't called me back. I am going back home for Christmas, should I hook up with my ex?

Well his parents hated me. Whenever we were with them they would make little comments. Mostly it was his mother, but you could just feel the hatred. I really think this was an unfounded hatred. In the past he never really paid too much attention to what she's had to say, but after this last trip i watch her pull him over and start talking about us. she gave me one of those glares as she he started to talk. It wasn't more than a week later that He ended up breaking up with me. He never would give me an answer to what she said. I have no idea what she could have said. I never cheated on him, or anything. We fought every once in a while, but nothing even close to a blowout fight. I mean if he was that big of a mama's boy, thank god i got out now! How's that for a breakup story! Ball less bastard

I saw an interesting picture on facebook. a mutual friend just got around to posting their summer beach trip pictures. you know when you go back and look over the pix for the 2nd or 3rd time you look at the creepers usually in the background, well i found quite the creeper! It was my bf taking a body shot of some sluuut at a bar. After confronting him about that,he ending up confessing to sleeping with that same girl. WOW.... super pissed off. thank you facebook breakup!

Josh and I hit the 1 year mark. we had been living in separate places, but I pretty much lived with him. we had a talk and we thought it would be best to move in together. my places was bigger than his so that was the winner. He moved in and things were cool for the first few months. I don't know if he stayed getting commitment issues or what, but he just started flipping out. He'd come home from work and he was mad. nothing really could Cheer him up. I'm not sure if he thought i was expecting to get married or what. it was more like roomies + benefits. worked out well for everyone. he took a swing at me the other day, that was it for me. no thank you

Well, I really loved this boy, and he loved me back. When we were going out he was so nice and kind and everything I could have wished for. Then after 4 months he broke up with me, saying it was stuff at home which was preventing him from going out with me. Then recently I made a big mistake of asking him what it was all about, why he doesn't love me any more (I made a mistake because I wanted to ask him IF he still loved me, not WHY he doesn't any more.) I left work early one day to meet my boyfriend so that we could go to a football game with his friends. I parked in the garage across from my work and he met me at the car. We are all excited and we go to turn the car on and we get nothing. I try to start it again and still nothing happens. All of a sudden my boyfriend totally freaks out that he has food in the trunk and his friends are waiting to eat. I tell him its not a big deal since they are in the box seats...they will live without a few hotdogs before the game. He completely freaks out and starts walking away. I ignore the freak out and call AAA while he is screaming that it is my fault the car wont start. We have a huge blow out and we just start screaming at each other in front of everyone whose trying to get home. He calls me a bitch and walks away. 2 hrs later no AAA guy and no boyfriend. I go across the street to a bar and get completely hammered...thank you red headed sluts! FINALLY the AAA guy comes to get my car. I call my boyfriend and hes still screaming at me telling me its my fault and that I better come pick him up after the game. I hung up the phone and the AAA guy looks at me and asks if he can buy me a drink. Turned out to be an awesome night and yes random sex with strangers does solve all your problems :)

our breakup stories was as lame as it gets! we met for lunch and i got the"we need to talk intro". he tells me that we can't see each other anymore because he needs to focus on his school work. I don't think it can get anymore lame than that. I wish guys these days still had a pair!

This is a long story but full of karma. I was totally in love with my girlfriend, and she with me, while we were serving in the Army in Germany. She got reassigned back to Ft. Meade so we were separated for many months but sent love letters back and forth and called as much as possible over that time. I eventually got out of the Army and went to visit her. She pretty much blew me off but I guess I didn't really want to accept the fact that we were broken up. 4 months later, she tells me she's getting married, to the dude she's been screwing while I was still in Germany. After the honeymoon, he gets back to find orders to Korea (unaccompanied tour, no spouse). I had to laugh....Revenge is mine!!! Years later, I go to Hawaii to visit a friend and he tells me she's there, still with her husband. I meet her and we hit it off, she's all over me asking me to come back while her husband is back home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Sorry for the homewrecking thing, but I was still very much in love with her. So I go back and she blows me off again! WTF...we aren't physical, nothing like my visit a month prior. Anyway, her husband is scheduled to get back on Tuesday, so I leave on Sunday and call her Monday night. Her husband answers, obviously in the middle of an argument. I thought it was because I had been there, not that we had fooled around or nothin. I call our mutual friend and find out she had another dude over Monday night and were doing it on the couch when her husband came home a day early. Karma strikes again!!!
