I’m writing today to discuss how my ex broke up with me. I want to start of by saying, I have made a video. It is very lengthy, but it discusses bullying and domestic abuse in it. I show my personal relationship, and why I should have left it because of how much pain it caused in the long run. If you know anybody out there that is a victim of domestic abuse, please show them this video. https://youtu.be/cia0a-AczXs So, I met a girl online. I drove 50 miles to meet her. She had never had a boyfriend before, so I became her first. She grew up in a very abusive household. Eventually the way her dad treated me is how she would treat me verbally. I lived in the abuse because I loved her, and she would always break down and say she was sorry. Eventually things would get so bad she would split from me. Now, she does drugs, heavy drinking, and one night stands. She told me how much better her one night stand within an hour of meeting a guy, was better than I ever was. I gave her a ring the night she lost her innocence, and it hurts for her to say that. She called me derogatory names, etc. Do I love her, yes. And I know she is only following a cycle by an abusive father that has hit and choked her, but I should have left the relationship when she first started putting me down. I am a guy that has been bullied and abused a lot in life. Partly because I have dog scars on my face, and she did call me ugly and things like that for it. She was always aggressive and wanted to fight people. She beat up one grandma where she was detained for it, and almost got into a fight with her roommate at college where the roommate was put with another girl and she was left to be alone. If you know someone that loves a self destructive person, and you want them to understand they have to leave them, watch this video. https://youtu.be/cia0a-AczXs

As long as I can remember I belive my personality said more about myself rather than my appearance.  Growing up what ever style it was, weather "grundge", "punk" or "gangster" my only real feature that stood out was my red hair. Though I wouldn't alow these styles to define me as a person I often felt predgism. This feeling often played a part in choices and morality as I grew up to never judge a book by its cover, and try to veiw things logic ly from Nemours perspectives. This led me to having a lot of friends from very diferent walks of life. This is the story of my last relationship spanning three years, from the time I met and fell in love with her at first sight, to my life right now, falling apart and absoltly hating myself. I am an asshole.

For some time, at the age of 23, I had been struggling with my housing situation. I was a first year heavy duity mechanic with two years experiance working maintenance for a pretty large transportation company in an oil city. Growing up here my entire life had given me at a young age a veiw into the world of drugs, gluttony, and a lot of narrow minded people just trying to stay busy and get by. During this time, the geting by was alright. The economy was booming and at this time were you to leave your job three more opertunity opened up. The realy problem at this point where the housing situation made it dificult was juggling my job and dealing with a series of drug addicted roomates. One of witch during the 2012 incident was telling me how he was goig to eat me. After that moved in with a friend growing up from high schools familie. Let's just say there was a series of murders going on with a particular gang that growing up i was affiliated through.  That was a unsafe fucked up situation I don't wish to discuss to much about Friends dieing and going to jail. This made me become more distant from more and more friends and focusing on my career.
Eventually, after some time couch serfing and sleepig in my car I had moved in with a two co workers. It was a old and small house, but it was nice. It was me and a coworker up stairs. My room was pink. Another country worker and his lesbian cousin and her other down stairs. With all that said, this is the setting of my tale. Where I first met her.
My roomate had started going through a dark period after his girlfriend had left him because he relapsed on meth. His down ward spiral kept geting worce and worce. Living with a meth head is the most unpleasant living I had delt with. Money, belonging, go missing, weird people come over. Mood swings. To cope with it I had began drinking more. Eventually he had lost his job and there was little I wouldn't do to get out of the house and meet new people. After one night at the bar I get back home fairly early. Being drunk and hearing music from un known origin I begin to follow it into the basement.  My down stairs roomates were having a few drinks and the girl I was in love with is there.
My first words to her were, " Oh your friends with those two? Are you a lesbian as well, because I think your cute."
She wasn't a lesbian. She was queer. Not that I realy understood much of that at the time. We ended up making out and I drove her to work the next day. I latter find out she had recently decided to transition into a man and begin her hormones. I was pretty sad that this girl who I just met that I already had feelings for was undergoing a change that wouldnt lead anywhere for us.
Regardless of where we both stood about my feeling we began hanging out. And for a time, a beautifle friendship blossomed. She inspired me to be myself, not let others take advantage of me, to stick up for myself have faith in making the right choices to better myself. I soon moved out of the house and got a small town house with my best friend growing up. For a time things seemed pretty good. How ever, I knew this girl I was already in love with and knew things how they were wouldn't last forever... nothing good lasts for ever, and once again things would get rocky. this is the end of part one.

My ex and I talked about marriage and having kids, she moved in with me after 6 months.

I got a call at work while i was away and she said she was moving out. That was it. Totally blindsided.

Now yes I was drinking too much and was tight on cash but I didnt deserve this. She totally humiliated me. Was moving out for 3 days and texting me the whole time saying "hi hunny love you".

Why would she be so classless?

Even sent me a pic of my one dog while he was super sad because he could tell she was leaving. How messed up is that. Ive never seen his face that sad before.

Our relationship was great, people where jealous of us, we where a couple that would make you sick to watch us together. But after going away for three months with collage getting messages from their class mates saying that they are cheating and still believing they wouldn't lie. That's what happen's when you put someone before your better judgement. You feel soft like anything could hurt you. But you'll forgive them or refuse to believe that they are like that and people are just jealous. When we got back they seemed more and more bored, always asking for vacations knowing that I couldn't afford them. In essence it was time for goodbyes but not in the honest way. The plan of action was to use the group of friends we had around us, first it started with their friends telling me no they would never do that and so on. This made me more suspicious and after awhile I lay awake beside them crying wondering if they'd lie. They'd go away with newly made friends and when u ask to meet them, they'd say i've got my friend you have yours. Even though they knew all of my friends. After awhile I was drinking a lot my friend was also going out with their best friend. So I asked did he know of anything "no" being the answer I was still unsatisfied but at this stage I knew they'd do anything to keep the truth, from all the promises and I did'nt ur paranoid you smoke too much!! Well in the end I broke it off because I was torturing them for the truth on a daily basis losing my mind attacking friends questioning everything and everyone I loved. Which made telling the truth harder for them. In the end they waited till I was drunk got me to cheat with one their friends and then watch as my ex left, we met once before they had gone, admitted to having done stuff too but not what with who or where as much as I begged, I suspected my best friends became angry and bitter, from a really outgoing person to just depressing to look at. I'm still on my own too proud to talk to friends. They come back every year to my town and I see them together with the group of friends I miss. One of my friends told me they knew after it happened and said everyone knew to absolve himself of the difficult position his gf put him in. To me that excuse is for pussies bro's before hoe's and all! Hoping for some light? BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LOVE!!!

I have just woke up now, having dreams about one of my ex's who apparently was so perfect that i wish her back since three years and everyday, i had known her for four years that time, we struggled a lot, had to fall apart, war stuff and bad community, the traditions where we lived, didn't allow us to keep meeting without being engaged at least, and even though I was too young for that, i could give away my life for her, so we did, i was 20 and obviously i had not been preparing for my future as having a family myself, no job, still getting money from my parents, and after a short while, her parents started pressing on her to press on me to work on my future, the really soon future, and she was just too prefect to do that but I could always know that she is being pressed and she has a lot to say but she doesn't to not make me feel bad, but I could always feel that, and I had a strong depression these days, I started drinking heavily, I lost hope about everything, I lost hope on myself, I said I won't ever make it, and her family couldn't appreciate my situation, So I left her without saying goodbye, I just didn't turn up again, she contacted me for months and months after that, I always wanted to talk to her, I have been missing her for years now, but I was weak enough to pick up her calls it messages, and now after years of that, everything changed in my life, every single part of me change, I have a great future now, having a great life ... But I swear a god, everything became tasteless for me, I can't enjoy anything anymore, I lost my interests about almost everything, life isn't interesting anymore.

So, I have had my fair share of bad breakups, bad relationships and just bad times... when i met him, i just fell head of heals. one he was so good looking, i thought i was the luckiest girl in the world being able to call him mine.. he had the most amazing heart, so pure and always trying to be closer to God... I admired him so much for his humble personality and strive to be a better man... i loved him and he fell in love with me... but after time, we realized we both wanted different things, he didn't want to travel, he wanted to stay in the same small town, he didn't care for finishing college as i wanted to eventually get my doctorates... he said he felt like we just weren't compatable.. and it broke my heart but when it happened... i remembered my breakup before him and how i would lean on drinking and clubbing to find comfort only to lead myself into an even more painful path... this time, i decided to read the bible, to pray more.. and i am still trying to do so... things happen in our life, that makes us want to crawl into bed and never get up... but we have to be strong, and that strength doesn't come from drinking, or partying or hooking up with other people... it comes from the one who know us better than anyone else, the one who died so that we can have a chance... i dont know if you believe in God of not... or if you are struggling with faith, or if you just don't know about God, but when something happens in your life that brings you down... God could be using it as an opportunity to draw him closer to you... cause it's at our weakest that his strength shines the brightest... losing my boyfriend sucked, it broke my heart and i had to deal with a lot of self esteem issues... but i'm trying every day to be happy... to see the bigger picture... to be able to say i may not be fine right now, but God has a plan for me...
i just encourage anyone with a broken heart to pray, it is so powerful and can really make a difference... it is for me at least

I met my ex-girlfriend on an online dating website and things got serious pretty quickly. She had bipolar disorder but was not getting treated. She lived with her parents and had a rocky relationship with her domineering and controlling mother. I always got the impression that her parents viewed my ex-girlfriend as a disappointment in comparison to her two older sisters who were both married with their own families. It seemed like her parents were happy with just about anybody who take my ex-girlfriend off her hands.

Initially I got along with her parents. I attended family gatherings, holidays and even went on a vacation with them. Over time, however, things changed. It started during a dinner we had with her parents. Her mother had a habit of scolding my ex-girlfriend about seemingly petty things. Even though it was an awkward situation that was uncomfortable, her mother was very unapologetic and instead got upset at me for not talking.

After two years together, we started to run into some problems. My ex-girlfriend was pressuring me into getting engaged, mainly so she could get my health insurance and get treated for her bipolar disorder. She even talked about eloping first so she didn’t have to wait to claim my insurance. I started to feel that the relationship was a little one-sided. We practically spent all of our free time together and I was bothered she never showed much interest in any of my hobbies and was always very vocal about how stupid they were. Another problem were her mood swings which often lead to arguments, which occasionally took place in public places.

After we broke up, I went out on my own while my ex-girlfriend immediately jumped into another relationship. Also during that time, her parents sort of relented and allowed her to get treated for her bipolar disorder. After a few months, we both realized that we still had feelings for each other and decided to get back together, promising that things would be different.

At first not everyone was excited that we were back together, mainly her parents. They were upset because they believed her new boyfriend would’ve eventually married her and because they believed I had caused my ex-girlfriend’s mood swings. My ex-girlfriend’s mother was upset at me over an incident that happened a year ago that never occurred. Even though my ex-girlfriend believed her, I was suspicious of her mother.

Initially everything seemed to be going great. The relationship was a lot more balanced and because my ex-girlfriend was taking medication she wasn’t getting those mood swings that plagued us last time. Around the holidays, things started to turn. I was driving my ex-girlfriend to the airport and my car got a flat tire. As I pulled into the gas station, she started screaming at me, like she did before she was taking her medication. It was so bad that the attendants felt sorry for me and gave me the replacement tire for free. Even though my ex-girlfriend wrote off the incident as holiday-related stress, it was the first indication that something wasn’t right.

Over the next month, my ex-girlfriend continued to act erratically and decided to break up with me on Valentine’s Day, only to change her mind the following day and the same pattern would occur every few weeks. Also during that time, my ex-girlfriend discovered that her mother had tricked her into not taking her bipolar medication and had told her doctor that she no longer needed them causing her doctor to believe she was misdiagnosed.

Eventually, my ex-girlfriend’s mother began to act even more coldly towards me. During an argument over the phone, I overheard her mother screaming in background and demanded that she break up with me and get it over with. Every time I saw her mother, I tried to be friendly or polite to her but she either scowl at me or storm out of the room. She continued to badmouth me and even made bizarre accusations about me. She claimed that I wasn’t serious about getting married and claimed that I was gay. She even told family members that she didn’t think that I was a nice person.

By the spring, my ex-girlfriend’s mood swings started to get worse. One night, my ex-girlfriend had too much to drink and she started grinding against me at a restaurant. After I quietly pushed her off of me and told her to stop, she started screaming at me and eventually pushed me out the door. When I returned, she continued to scream at me and had to be told to leave by the manager.

On the way home, I told her we were finished but she wanted to talk. She asked for another chance and promised to stop drinking. When I wouldn’t reconsider, she got upset demanded that I get out of her car and kicked me in my ribs and threw a half empty wine bottle out the window. The following day, she changed her mind and tried to convince me to give her another chance. After she got her friends to contact me, I felt like I had no choice but to give in.

In the following weeks. My ex-girlfriend’s mood swings got worse and she even got pushy and demanding. When I tried breaking up with her again, she again forced me to reconsider and sometimes held me hostage in her house until I reconsidered. Personally I felt trapped. When my ex-girlfriend and I got back together, this was not what I had envisioned. Now I felt depressed and noticed that I had gained weight.

I decided that I needed an outlet for my feelings and decided to sign up for an obstacle course race. My ex-girlfriend immediately thought it was a dumb idea and was upset that I ask her permission. She also hated that I joined a Sunday softball league with a friend, even though she worked on that day. She always expected me to stay home and meet with her after she got off of work.

The night before the race, my ex-girlfriend decided to rehash an old argument about how she felt that I wasn’t committed to her and believed her mother was about me. The argument continued as I was driving her home and when I tried to break up with her again, she lost her temper and started hitting me over the head with a book as I was driving. Afterwards, I was forced to change my mind after she refused to leave my car. The following week, I finally broke up with my ex-girlfriend after I cancelled my plans with her and she furiously berated me on the phone. Unlike last summer, this was for good.

In the months that followed, my ex-girlfriend continued to try to contact me.
Sometimes she scolded me for breaking up with her and occasionally she begged for another chance. She even would scream at remaining mutual friends when they wouldn’t tell her any information they had on me. I also learned that she was in a serious car accident that some of her friends believe might been a suicide attempt. Eventually, she stopped trying to contact me and I learned that she had started dating another guy and was once again taking bipolar medication.

As for me, I rediscovered how to have fun again. I made a lot of new friends on the softball team I joined that summer. It helped that we won the championship and I ended up making the game winning catch. I also lost 50 pounds and have since competed in 3 more obstacle course races. I even started dating again and am currently in the early stages of a new relationship. It’s been fun and I can't remember the last time I felt this happy or excited about my life.

I met a friend of a friend, let's call him Tom, at a music festival. We hit it off straightaway, had a lot in common, and things were going really well. After three months he was talking about us moving in together and getting married!

So we had been together for five months, and everything was going great- we hardly ever argued, hung out all the time and we thought we had found The One. Then I found out I was pregnant. It was a HUGE surprise (we had been very careful!) but we wanted to spend our lives together anyway so we were happy. Sadly, on Christmas Eve when I was 8 weeks pregnant I suffered a miscarriage. This is when he turned into a total d**k.

At the hospital he was totally ignoring me while I was waiting to get checked over. When I got called to be seen by the doctor, he said he needed the toilet and stayed outside smoking until I was done and came looking for him. For the next week, he was avoiding me- wouldn't answer my calls, would only reply to texts to tell me he was too busy to see me. On New Years Eve, I went over to his house where he told me he just wanted to stay home and play his xbox. I told him that was OK, but could we go to his room so I could lay down (I was still suffering symptoms from the miscarriage). Then he told me if I was just going to be miserable and lay there I should just go home (wow!). I went home and for another week he ignored me and avoided me til finally he said we could meet up to 'talk' and I knew he wanted to end it. On the day, I was waiting at a bar for him and after an hour he still hadn't shown up. He text me saying this was because he was waiting for an emergency plumber. Then my brother called, and told me he was out at a nightclub and Tom was there drinking and partying with some girls. I was heartbroken, and simply left Tom a voicemail saying we were over. At 3am, Tom called me and started shouting and swearing at me down the phone for being a bitch and telling my brother 'all of our business'. Apparently my brother had politely told the girls Tom was partying with all about me, and how Tom had stood up his girlfriend during a miscarriage, and of course the girls were not impressed! Tom called me again the next day AND the day after that, because he wanted to make sure that I knew we were over. Thanks a bunch!

It's been over a year since that break up and I'm still not ready to date again. Although I found out that a month after we broke up, Tom crashed his car when he was drinking and driving- no one was hurt, but he lost his license and his job. Karma's a bitch!

So I was friends with this boy for about a year and a half before we started dating. He was in the Marine Core. I actually met him when he was going through a divorce with his high school sweet heart who cheated on him with 20 different guys that he worked with. He went on deployment and we become Facebook friends and started talking all the time and skyping everyday. We talked about absolutely everything for hours. He came back and and we then went out a few times with his friends to the bars and had fun. This one weekend all his friends rented a hotel room and in the same weekend my roommate was being a bitch and locked me out, so i ended up sleeping in there hotel room. He was always such a gentlemen and walked me to my car and helped me move it before we went back to the room. We decided just to hang out with each other. We went back to the room, and laid on the bed and just stared at each other. nothing happened and we cuddle. After that we started having movie nights together and he would beg his friends to bring him to my house because he didn't have a car. well, about a month after that, we decided to drink. and then one thing led to another and he kissed me. and then the weekend after we ended up sleeping with each other. and he just started coming over a lot and we were best friends. always with each other. about 2 months after that, we went on a booze cruise and he proclaimed his love to me. I told him to call me in the morning and that i didn't believe him because he was drinking. He called me in the morning sober and said it. (FIRST TIME IN LOVE) i liked him so much, his girly side, his stupidity, the fact that we would always get ready together and take showers with each other. about a month after that he just stopped texting me as much , and he was getting out of the military. the day he left, he told me how much he loved me but that we were not going to do distance.. well he didn't talk to me for four months. Just left and nothing. I googled his name and saw he had a dating website and he had been talking to girls the whole time in our relationship. I flipped shit and sent him nasty texts. four months later he tried talking to me and told me still that he loves me and that he would be 100 percent with me if we were in the same town. He also said how much he has liked this one girl in high school his whole life and going for her. I thought everything was so twisted. It hurts so much to this day. i want it to be a struggle to remember his name

Well about 20 months ago I began dating a girl with whom I had a great relationship and love affair, for about a year. She was awesome, terrific to laze around and watch a movie with, terrific with my son (id say they were even good friends, I sometimes wonder if he misses her, he doesn't mention it).

About 8 months ago she got pregnant. She wound up miscarrying. After that she had some struggles and the relationship got to be not as good, she kept trying to change herself to look better. I kept telling her I always liked the way she looked. Finally she wound up in the hospital after going drinking with her friends to a bachelorette party and I had to split up with her. I just said "I'm sorry but I can't talk to you, I can't reason with you, I just left my son at his moms for 5 days sitting ina hospital to make sure you're alive and well, I can't handle it anymore" and we split.

She came over and hung out a few times, we stayed friends, she'd play words with friends with both of us everyday, all that. Then family circumstance changed a nd my son and I had to move away from the town we were in.

And thats when things went nuts. She told me she'd missed her period, I said ok. She'd gotten pregnant before, but miscarried, she sent a photo of some positive tests, so I didn't disbelieve her. I said we'll deal with this as it happens, but I'm already committed to moving 2 hours away, so for the time being thats it. While later she sent me a picture of an ultrasound with a caption like "take a look at our kids", we talked about it. A while later she sent another, a doctors report. Then she invited me to some ultrasounds, once in the middle of the week when she knew i couldn't make it as there was nobody to pick up my son, once 1 day after she knew my son and I were scheduled to fly to Cali to visit family for the holidays.

Then she started texting me stories about her amazing love life. How she was dating 2 dudes, how one was "rocking her world" so I got suspicious and just googled ultrasound pictures. I eventually found BOTH THE PIC OF THE POSITIVE TESTS AND THE ULTRASOUND PICS ON GOOGLE IMAGES.

I called her on it, she maintained she was pregnant, with twins no less. Eventually I had to call her sister, her sister said no she's not, she goes to the bar, she lives with our mom, she's just messing with you. So I talked to her about it and she responded with a pic of 4 ultrasound pics next to her ID. Except they were printed and cut with a scissors and ALSO found on the internet.

So I told her to stop it, I knew she was lieing. Then I started getting prank phone calls in the middle of the night, people with blocked numbers threatening to beat me up or "kick my @#%#", strange texts from out of state numbers. Finally someone showed up at my hotel room when I was visiting the old town, at about 9-10 am beating on the door and yelling my name. I figured it was related as I'd gotten numerous late night / early hour pranks the night before.

I wound up having to change my phone number, my email address, and get a restraining order. And she STILL, even though she has admitted to her mom and sister that she is not pregnant, and I've spoken to them about it, finds ways, through mutual friends, to get texts and emails to me about how pregnant she is.

I just hope it eventually ends. And let there be no doubt that truly "he!! hath no fury like a woman scorned" or, as it seems, no crazy like one either.

It has been the worst 4 months of my entire life, truly traumatic.
